Media Access
Access controls how the media is shared and accessed by the public.
Only a published media can have access options set.
Sharing Options
Setting the access option to University of Toronto
will prevent the video from viewing by the general public. However, it would still show up on search results and prompt the user for authentication before allowing access.
Once this video is shared publicly, AODA requirements must be met. The video must be accompanied by captions and a transcript detailing additional information (e.g.actions, scene changes) along with the captions
Allow for download
Allows users to save your media file to their own device for viewing later. It also makes it possible to redistribute it.
Allow for Discovery
During the upcoming year, we plan on releasing a public search page to discover our media collection. By opting in, this video will be available for searching and viewing for the general public. A new public search page will be released in the upcoming months.
